Job Title: OR RN Educator Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Educator Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: - Minimum of 2 years as an educator - Over 5 years of Operating Room experience License: - Must have a valid state nursing license in hand prior to start date Certifications: - BLS required Must-Have: - Inpatient Acute Care experience Description: The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse Educator. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an educator. Candidates should also possess over 5 years of experience in the Operating Room. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Candidates must have a valid state nursing license and required certifications. Local residents are eligible to apply without restrictions. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays as part of the commitment. The unit is a Level 1 Trauma Center with multiple Operating Rooms. Specialties include cardiovascular, neuroscience, orthopedic, general surgery, and others. Floating within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities is required for all travelers. Candidates are expected to adhere to all facility policies and guidelines. Prior supervisory references are necessary for application submission.
