We are seeking a Construction Field Inspector in our Fort Wayne, IN location. Responsibilities: Documents field activities, observations, and testing results on transportation and utility infrastructure projects. Completes field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate. Notifies Engineer or Supervisor of problems. Acts as a liaison for client, contractor, and residents when needed. Maintains vehicle and equipment as necessary. Education: High School Graduate. Licensure/Certification/Registration: OSHA 10, Troxler Safety & Hazmat Safety Training preferred. 0-2 years? experience materials testing and/or DOT Certifications preferred. Indiana : ACI/MCA Concrete testing certification, INDOT Certified Technician Program Certification, INDOT material testing qualifications, INDOT Stormwater Manager, 0-2 INDOT Site Manager experience are preferred. ABONMARCHE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING FOR THE NECESSARY CERTIFICATIONS IF THE APPLICANT DOES NOT HAVE THEM. Work Experience/Qualifications: 0-5 Years. INDOT or MDOT experience preferred. Building trades or highway construction or public works experience a plus. Work Environment Typical office environment with work performed outside on a project site. May be exposed to extreme temperatures.
