Tenure/Non-Tenure Track Professors in Computer Science/Cybersecurity

Anderson University is seeking applicants to join our innovative Computer Science team. Two positions are available in Computer Science or Cybersecurity, as tenure-track faculty at the assistant professor, associate professor, or professor level, or non-tenure track continuing position at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2019. Computer Science candidates will teach a mix of introductory and upper-level computer science courses. Cybersecurity candidates will teach a mix of introductory level and upper-level Cybersecurity courses, as well as closely related computer science courses. We place a premium on high-quality teaching, and especially welcome those who desire to contribute to one or more of our institutional objectives: encouraging undergraduate research, mentoring female and minority students, or participating in outreach to our local community through hackathons or STEM-related events. We seek faculty who possess a maturing Christian faith and are committed to the mission of Christian higher education. Requirements Applicants for the tenure-track position should have a minimum of a master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, and plan to complete a doctorate prior to earning tenure. Applicants for the non-tenure track position should have a master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a closely related field, with related experience in industry. The department is planning to provide support to interested faculty toward the completion of relevant cybersecurity certificates (e.g., Certified Ethical Hacker certification).
