They are responsible for monitoring progress and providing guidance in the area of electricity and automation to the factory for the successful implementation of capital projects and maintenance activities. This role provides guidance and support to meet engineering targets and objectives. This role's financial/strategic impact is related to the capital investment budget related to MES, Electricity & Automation.They will be responsible for all aspects related to Electricity, Automation, Process Control, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and the Factory Automation System (FAS) infrastructure, applications, and resources with large focus on internal system integration according to Nestl-- corporate strategies, standards, specifications and local codes and regulations.RESPONSIBILITIESLead, design as per Nestl-- E&A standards and Good Hygienic Engineering principles, installation, start-up and handover at pre-determined guaranteed performance, all the equipment and lines included in his/her area of responsibility.Ensure alignment of the process with the final customers in production.Early management of the operational, environmental safety and technical aspects of the line to ensure a smooth product commissioning and handover to production.CAPEX- Prepare monthly reports with emphasis on timing and cost estimation in the area of responsibility.Lead multi-functional activities (obtaining agreement from other related areas), for Start-Up including FAT (Factory Acceptance trials), technical commissioning (with dry and wettrials), product commissioning, cleaning validations, and FDA validations in their respectivearea of responsibility.Close co-ordinations with other functions such as quality, safety, operations, and production, with special emphasis on QMS, HAACP and calibration.Develop themselves as an expert in their area of responsibility for a long-term support of the operation.Assist in necessary training for plant personnel and E&A SpecialistHandover assets with as-built drawings, maintenance plan and trained operatorsREQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVELBachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is requiredEXPERIENCE5-7 years of electrical engineering experience required; food industry preferredStrong project management skillsCompetent design knowledgeStrong communication and presentation skillsHigh proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and MS ProjectSAP knowledge desirableExtensive experience in AB ControlLogixs, Wonderware In Touch and Middleware,Knowledge in applicable standards and regulations: ISA 4.1, S88Product management in the pharmaceutical or food industryGood knowledge and experience with power distribution in industrial facilitiesProcess qualification, validation in the pharmaceutical or food industry IQ, OQ, PQFDA & GMP/GAMP regulationProcess automation, PLC & SCADA systems, APC206102It is our business imperative to remain a very inclusive workplace.To our veterans and separated service members, you're at the forefront of our minds as we recruit top talent to join Nestl--.
