Engineer is responsible for supporting the factory to ensure and
deliver asset maintenance according to the Nestle Strategy (using
TPM as the multi-disciplined approach to maintain/improve fixed
assets, and AMM to manage their life cycle).The Reliability
Engineer shall establish a "Continuous Improvement and Zero Loss"
culture in Maintenance, consistent with the principles of NCE. This
position will lead machinery maintenance efforts and the
development/implementation of maintenance practices to drive world
class equipment performance levels. The Reliability Engineer will
work closely with maintenance, production, and technical services
to develop, design, and recommend strategies to enhance
equipment/component performance.PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include, but are not limited
to:*Define, propose, and monitor the Maintenance plans and
objectives in accordance with Engineering Policy, Key Principles as
outlines in the Nestle Engineering Excellence (NEE) master
document. Validate results achieved in the program.*Monitor
plant/equipment PM's to ensure best possible operation and
reduction of planned/unplanned downtime.*Lead the factory to reduce
technical stoppages/UPS in equipment or areas of common occurrence
(priority given to areas of highest incidence or impact). Ensure
the systematic review of all line, processes, and utilities that
are critical to the business and those where failure can have an
unacceptable impact on safety, personnel safety, food safety,
environment, or compliance with the law.*Manage/update equipment
criticality list.*Encourage close teamwork between all functions
(Engineering, Productions, Quality Management, etc.)*Ensure the
implementation of all repairs/modifications resulting from Gap
assessments, plant audits, and notifications.*Manage and ensure MOC
process is in place for any modifications, design changes, and
maintenance activities.*Lead the effort for Predictive Maintenance
Technologies to monitor the health of equipment, e.g., vibration
analysis, oil analysis, infrared cameras, ultrasonics, motor
circuit analysis, condition monitoring, machine learning, and
digitization applications.*Coach maintenance on using all available
predictive tools, be the SME of the equipment and promote the
benefits of the technology.*Lead/participate in incident
investigations.*Be the SME for planned maintenance
shutdowns/overhauls including monitoring contractors/vendors for
quality.*Verify maintenance/reliability improvements through field
observations.This position requires exceptional communication
skills not only, to assure Technical Management support of NCE/NEE
as the multi-disciplined approach to maintain/improve fixed assets
at all levels of Factory management, but also to lead the
transformation of the factory culture from reactive/breakdown to
proactive/planned maintenance. Frequent and open communication with
Maintenance Manager, Factory Engineer, Reliability Engineers,
Production Management, Operations, and Corporate Specialist. This
position also requires working knowledge of TPM-PM, basic knowledge
of Downtime Recording Systems and Maximo/SAP-PM, and broad
experience in multiple Engineering and Maintenance positions.
Willingness to embrace new technologies, analysis techniques, and
lead improvements is also required.REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM
EDUCATION LEVELBachelors Degree in Engineering (Maintenance &
Reliability, Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical or
equivalent) strongly preferred or equivalent work experience,
relevant certifications (i.e., SMRP, CMRP, CPRE),
preferred.EXPERIENCEMinimum 3 - 5 years' experience in Maintenance
and/or Maintenance/Reliability Engineering field. Direct experience
with Maintenance and Reliability tools, preferred.SKILLS*Recognized
skills in Maintenance Engineering.*Knowledge, understanding, and
passion for continuous improvement methodologies.*Knowledge and
understanding of the cost drivers of Maintenance in manufacturing
operations.*Good working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo,
DMO) with the ability comprehend trends/reports. *Analytical and
problem-solving skills*Knowledge of root cause analysis
(BDA).*Knowledge of vibration analysis and or rotating
machinery.*Excellent verbal and written communication skills*The
ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including
executives, managers, and subject matter experts*Able to organize,
coordinate, and direct users and teams*Strong oral and written
communications abilities*Solid analytical and technical
skills*Strong computer skills with Word/Excel/Powerpoint.*Excellent
