Grounds Manager - Anderson University - HES Facilities ManagementMaintains grounds of campus property by performing the following duties.Essential FunctionsThis job description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Skills:Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to perform complex mathematical computationsAbility to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Travel: Limited travel by car to local customer locations.Physical and Working ConditionsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the duties of this job.
