TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Carmel, Indiana, 46032! Pay Information $3,103 per week About The Position Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1.5 Years License: In-state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (Advanced Preferred) Must-Have: - IV Start - Floating required to other facilities Description: Position for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience. First-time travelers accepted. Call requirements are in place: 24 hours every 6 weeks. Weekend requirements are mandatory, working every third weekend. Floating is 100% required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Refusal to float may result in termination of the contract. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Guaranteed hours include 40 hours in one workweek for 8 and 10-hour shifts, and 48 hours in one workweek for 4, 12-hour shifts. This is a fast-paced, recently renovated level 3 labor and delivery unit. Responsibilities include care for antenatal, laboring, and bereavement mothers. Nurses will be responsible for vaginal deliveries, c-section deliveries, and surgical procedures related to labor and delivery. The unit includes triage and operating rooms. There is a level 3 NICU in-house. The postpartum floor is separate; however, if full, postpartum patients may be held on the labor unit temporarily. Anesthesia and OB laborist coverage is available 24/7. Staffing ratios follow established guidelines. Candidates are required to have the necessary certifications in hand prior to submission. Floating to other facilities is required. Local travelers are not accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted.
