Job Description:
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a
qualified Med/Surg RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202! Pay
Information $2,025 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 2 years License: Must have Indiana or compact license
Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Must be flexible with weekend
requirements. Travelers must be able to work 50% of the weekends in
their contract. Previous travel experience is required. Experience
in starting IVs is mandatory. Level 1 trauma experience is
preferred. Floating to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU,
ICU) may be required. Refusal to float may result in termination of
the contract. Description: Charge pay is offered. Travelers must
agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned
students to shadow. If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift,
they are expected to make up the day during the pay period if a 0.9
FTE. Any call-in shifts for a 1.2 FTE will be added to the end of
the contract. Charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with
provided training and resources. The unit focuses on complex
medical patients with renal disease and diabetes as a primary or
secondary diagnosis. There is a dedicated area for end-of-life
care; however, travelers will not be required to work in this area.
The unit provides all continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis
treatments, but travelers will not be required to complete these.
All travelers must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate
