TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Lafayette, Indiana, 47905! Pay Information $2,149 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months required License: Required state license must be in hand to submit Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required Must-Have: Telemetry and IV Start skills required Floating is required Locals are not accepted for this position Description: Charge pay is available. First-time travelers are accepted. Travelers must work 3 shifts per week, with every other weekend required. The unit has a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6. The majority of patients are for medical issues, including COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, COVID-19, chest pain, and small bowel obstruction. There is a small surgical case load, averaging 1-3 post-surgical cases per day, including procedures such as gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, colectomy, mastectomy, appendectomy, and cholecystectomy. Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliates. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Two supervisor references are required for submission.
