Job Description:
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology

Shift: 10 hours (06:45 - 17:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years
required, 1st time travelers accepted if they have 3 years of
experience License: Must have IN or compact license or be in the
process of obtaining it Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT, RCI
Must-Have: Skills in circulating and conscious sedation required
Description: Minimum experience required is 2 years. 1st time
travelers are accepted if they have 3 or more years of experience.
The shift will be 4x10 hours. Certifications required include ACLS,
BCLS, ARRT, and RCI. Familiarity with equipment such as Acist
injector, Siemens C-arm, Philips C-arm, Medrad power injector,
Rotopro, Diamondback, IVUS, OCT, Shock wave, Rampart, Pneumbra, and
Inari is essential. Key skills required include circulating and
conscious sedation. Procedures performed will include cardiac –
LHC, RHC, balloon pumps, temporary pacer, permanent
pacer/defibrillator, pericardial effusion, and STEMI call.
Interventional radiology procedures will involve venous access,
drain placements, GI tube insertion, PE, DVTs, Tips, PV, fistula
work, UFEs, prostate embolizations, and management of
GI/postpartum/other internal bleeds. Travelers are required to
float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Candidates must comply with flu vaccination requirements unless
they have medical or religious exemptions. Two supervisor
references are required for application. Candidates must work 2 out
of 3 major holidays.
