Pay Information $2,915 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 18 months required License: In-state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS required; NIH preferred Must-Have: - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Experience with post-cardiac surgery care - Competence in arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, and PICC line management - Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. This unit includes mixed acuity patients, requiring comfort in both progressive care and medical-surgical environments. The nurse will work across different areas as needed. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:5. Previous charge experience is preferred. The patient population consists of those recovering from cardiovascular or thoracic surgeries, as well as oncology patients. Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, pre/post cardiac catheterization interventions, sheath removal, and ventilator management is preferred. Successful candidates will be required to work on weekends and holidays. The facility has private rooms equipped with overhead lifts and telemetry.
