Responsibilities Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is looking for a Gastroenterologist to join our elite team. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent Anderson to provide medical services to patients. Position Highlights: - Our candidate will join an established and well respected practice alongside 3 experienced GI physicians with a tenured support staff - Our ideal candidate will be BC/BE, preferably with advanced endoscopic skills such as ERCP - Additional opportunities include treating patients with IBD, obesity and hepatitis management - 1:5 call - Highly–skilled and engaged 24/7 hospitalists - Strong collaboration with Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine - Large medical and surgical residency programs with Ascension St. Vincent - Opportunity to shadow/work at flagship quaternary referral campus - We have an extremely strong St. Vincent referral base which will allow our candidate to develop a busy practice quickly Responsibilities: - Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management. - Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: - Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. - Advanced Life Support preferred.
