Job Description Job Description Overview of the Pulmonary Disease - Critical Care Physician Position We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonologist to join our team, focusing on outpatient care that emphasizes the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disorders. This role involves collaboration with nurse practitioners and medical assistants, and includes procedural work such as bronchoscopy and EBUS. The position offers a competitive salary and allows for up to six weeks of annual leave. Our organization has an exciting opportunity for a Pulmonologist to become part of our practice located in the vibrant college town of Lafayette, Indiana . Position Details: Full-time outpatient role with 36 hours of patient interaction each week. Workdays are Monday through Friday. No on-call responsibilities. Collaboration with a Nurse Practitioner on the outpatient pulmonary team. Active Lung Nodule Clinic available. Endoscopic procedures offered based on individual skills and interests. Generous time off policy, allowing for up to 6 weeks of leave annually. Attractive salary package. Main Responsibilities: Provide outpatient care in a pulmonary clinic, collaborating with Advanced Practice Providers and Medical Assistants. Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the respiratory system. Perform bronchoscopy and EBUS procedures as needed. Qualifications: Board Eligible/Board Certified in the United States. MD/DO with an Indiana medical license or eligibility for licensure. Consistent employment and training history. Strong communication abilities. Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
