Physician Opportunity We are seeking a full-time Cardiovascular
Surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive robotic cardiac
surgery to become a part of our multidisciplinary team. This role
focuses on delivering advanced patient care, engaging in resident
education, and participating in pioneering surgical research within
our expanding cardiovascular institute. Candidates should be
board-certified thoracic surgeons with fellowship training and a
background in complex cardiac procedures and academic
collaboration. Our organization is inviting applications for a
full-time Cardiovascular Surgeon who specializes in Minimally
Invasive Robotic cardiac surgery to join our highly skilled
multidisciplinary team in the Indianapolis Metro Region. Applicants
should possess experience in teaching residents and fellows, along
with a strong commitment to caring for complex cardiovascular
patients. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in
performing intricate coronary revascularization, valve repair and
replacement, as well as minimally invasive robotic valve surgeries.
They will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing a growing
practice that emphasizes collaborative and interdependent quality
systems to achieve successful patient outcomes. This is a full-time
faculty role, with salary and academic rank determined by
experience. Our health system serves as a significant regional and
statewide referral center, known for its commitment to innovation,
research, and multidisciplinary collaboration. We are currently
expanding our statewide cardiovascular institute and specialty
hospital practices, with strategic investments in surgical
innovation, faculty recruitment, and the establishment of a new $6
billion state-of-the-art Academic Health Center set to open in
2027. The Department of Surgery and School of Medicine are

future surgical leaders and surgeon scientists. This position will
be jointly employed by our medical group and the School of

Cardiovascular Surgery, including cardiothoracic transplantation
and mechanical circulatory support. - Contribute to a collaborative

School of Medicine. - Engage in scholarly activities, resident
education, and system-wide quality initiatives. Essential
Qualifications: Preferred candidates will: - Hold an MD/DO and be
board-certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. - Have
completed a general surgery residency and a cardiothoracic surgery
fellowship or an integrated residency program, along with
additional specialty training in Minimally Invasive and Robotic
Cardiac Surgery. Candidates should have at least three years of
post-fellowship employment experience. - Be licensed or eligible
for licensure to practice medicine in Indiana. - Exhibit strong
leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
collaborate effectively within a large, dynamic health system. - Be
committed to teaching fellows, residents, and medical students. -
