Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10
Experience: One year of OR experience required License: Valid
Registered Nurse License required Certifications: Current CPR and
ACLS certification required Must-Have: Must be willing to work with
acutely ill patients, including emergency situations. Works
independently as well as functioning as a team member and charge
nurse as assigned. Capable of adapting to changing environment.
Practice is consistent with relevant nursing standards and
regulations. Description: The clinical nurse functions in a
multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes
excellence in the practice of nursing. The clinical nurse is
responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of
patients as described by the scope of care for the area of
practice. Demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound
scientific research and evidence-based principles. Coordinates and
directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. Accountable
for compliance with relevant nurse practice acts, applicable
regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
Provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly
and indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to
patients and families. Responsible for knowledge and implementation
of the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Open Heart
RNs and Surgical Technologists may be required to float, as needed,
between locations. Minimum call requirement is one to two days a
week and at least one weekend a month. Requirements Required for
