Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Muncie, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,966 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 4/22/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Muncie, Indiana, 47303! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 18 months of experience required License: Must have active state license in hand prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience: 2 years - Patient ratio experience: 2 patients to 1 RN unless high acuity then 1:1 - Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Skills in arterial line management, starting and maintaining IVs - Competence in continuous IV sedation and titrating cardiac drips - Care experience for ventilated patients Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU registered nurse. The position requires floating as necessary. You will be responsible for managing an 18-bed open critical care unit. The staffing ratio is typically 2 patients per RN, unless high acuity necessitates 1:1 care. The patient population includes individuals with respiratory failure, sepsis, CHF, and surgical needs. You will care for patients recovering from various critical conditions. Experience with IABP and CVVHD is preferred but not mandatory. The role requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. All applicants must be able to provide two supervisor references. Local residents are not accepted for this position.
