Job Description:
Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse
for our Labor and Delivery department, an integral part of our
faith-based healthcare organization. At Ascension, we commit to

spiritually nurturing environment. Monitor patient health and
progress prior to, during, and post-labor. Administer medications
and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Educate and
support patients and their families on processes, pain management,
and postpartum care. Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians,
and other medical professionals. Maintain accurate patient records
and adhere to all healthcare regulations. Participate in
professional development and adhere to all facility health and
safety protocols. Proficiency in fetal monitoring and emergency
response. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to
handle high-stress, emotional situations with professionalism.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and
holidays. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of
employment. BLS/CPR certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program
(NRP) certification preferred.
