Job Description:
Meijer is seeking a dynamic Warehouse Operations Supervisor to
oversee the efficient handling and distribution of our wide range
of products from groceries to home goods. Located within our
high-energy warehouse environment, this role is pivotal in
maintaining the excellence and efficiency that Meijer is known for
across the Midwest. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful
leader with a proven ability to manage both processes and people.
As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will ensure that
warehouse operations are carried out effectively, meet compliance
standards, and align with Meijers objectives of providing
exceptional service and quality to our customers. Supervise daily
warehouse operations and staff to ensure a smooth workflow and meet
distribution timelines. Monitor and analyze operational processes,
recommending strategic improvements where necessary. Ensure
compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse
environment. Manage inventory accuracy and oversee stock control
systems. Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance
efficiency and productivity. Prepare performance reports and engage
in continuous development and process improvement. Collaborate with
other departments to integrate logistics with company procedures
and operations. Strong leadership and team management skills
Expertise in warehouse management systems and databases Proficiency
in budgeting and forecasting Excellent problem-solving and
analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills
