Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a renowned global nonprofit engaging in humanitarian aid and sustainable development, is seeking an experienced Flexo Press Operator to join our printing media team dedicated to producing high-quality materials that reflect our mission. In this role, the operator will handle the set-up, operation, and maintenance of the flexographic printing presses to ensure timely delivery and exceptional quality of printed materials. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and a keen eye for detail to support MCC's communication and promotional efforts in various communities worldwide. Preparing the flexo press for production, including setting up print plates, inks, and materials based on job requirements Operating and monitoring the flexo press to produce print runs that meet quality standards Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues with the press to minimize downtime Ensuring adherence to safety standards and procedures in the press area Coordinating with the production team to meet print job deadlines and quality expectations Maintaining accurate records of print jobs and inventory levels of necessary supplies Contributing to improvement initiatives for production processes In-depth knowledge of flexographic printing processes and machinery Strong technical aptitude for operating and maintaining complex machinery Keen attention to detail for producing high-quality print materials Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines Good communication skills for effective teamwork and production coordination Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from a recognized printing technology program is desirable Specific training or certification in flexographic printing operations
