Job Description:
Data Specialist**Department:** Madison County Circuit Court
Adult Probation**Job Category:** PAT (Professional Administrative
Technological)**Term:** Grant funded position; potential for
renewal**Pay Rate:** \$40,000/year **FSLA Status:**
Non-exempt**Work Schedule:** Typically, 8:00 am 4:00 pm, but must
be able to work beyond traditional County work hours.General
Duties:Develop specific data reports that monitor performance of
the department.- Collect and maintain data required by Justice
Reinvestment Advisory Council, Madison County Coalition Against
Substance Abuse, and the Indiana Department of Correction.-
Submittal of all required data by JRAC, MCCASA, and IDOC in
accordance with the required submission timeframe.- Collect any
additional data or information requested by JRAC, MCCASA, or IDOC
that is relevant to the funding awarded.- Perform importing,
cleaning, transforming, and validating enhanced data collected for
reports.- Assist with quality assurance and development of a data
entry training manual for staff to utilize.- Liaison with the
Indiana Office of Court Services as the on-site contact
person/control in association with the proposed data analysis,
development of data protocols, and identification of comparison
groups required to conduct an outcome evaluation.- Review current
data elements and reports, review data collection protocol.-
Liaison with current case management vendor, Supervised Release
System (SRS)a database within INciteprovided by the Indiana Supreme
Court.- Assist in the development and implementation of evaluation
plans and studies and identify outcomes and other indicators of
program/project completion and success.- Any related duties, as
assigned.Qualifications:- High School Diploma. Bachelors degree
preferred. Education/experience in criminal justice preferred.-
Familiar with Supervised Released System (SRS), a component of
INcite. Proficient in Excel.- Knowledge of and experience with
qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods.-
Excellent written and oral communication and public presentation
skills.- Attention to detail.- Ability to maintain a schedule and
meet deadlines with limited supervision.- Demonstrated ability to
work collaboratively and in a team-oriented environment.-
