Job Summary:The Indirect Buyer's responsibilities may include: Seeking out reliable vendors or suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing order processes from start to finish. Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None Daily Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing / Procurement of new/alternative suppliers.
  • Processing indirect requisitions from all departments.
  • Managing open orders from start to finish.
  • Maintain any/all communication with suppliers. (Negotiating prices, expediting orders, invoice discrepancies)
  • Contract negotiations & management of indirect services.
  • Manage ordering of all consumable supplies. (Packaging, Office, Janitorial, Breakroom, Cleaning)
  • Other duties as needed. Required Skills/Abilities:
    • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office and SAP strongly preferred
    • Strong organizational and excellent communication skills.
      • Minimum 2 years related Supply Chain experience. Education and Experience:
        • College Degree Required (or equivalent experience gained from 2+ years of Supply Chain Buying / Sourcing / Procurement experience)
        • High school diploma Required. Physical Requirements:
          • Prolonged periods of sitting
