Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, Indiana's first community
mental health center, provides comprehensive care for emotional and
behavioral problems, including severe mental illness and substance
abuse. The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center -offers both
inpatient and outpatient services, including several outreach
centers as well as clinic- and community-based services.

About the Opioid Treatment Program
The Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) provides comprehensive opioid
treatment services to individuals experiencing co-occurring
substance use and mental health concerns. Our team consists of
nurses, physician, counselors, and care coordinators who provide
person-centered interventions that enable clients to reach their
recovery goals through counseling, peer support, care coordination,
therapy, group skills, and group therapy. - Located near the new
criminal justice campus on the near southeast side, this
re-developing and growing area is now the home of our beautiful,
new Opioid Treatment Program which is filled with art from local
artists as well as clients in our much beloved arts program. - -
-This program also operates 365 days per year to ensure clients
have access to services, including medication for opioid use
disorder, at times critical for their success.
Where You Fit In
The Clinical Supervisor supervises a team of therapists and care
coordinators in the delivery of services in the opioid treatment
clinic for individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and
mental health concerns. - The Clinical Supervisor plays a critical
role in the development and oversight of clinical services to
ensure effective employee development and implementation of
treatment plans and interventions. This role utilizes a wide
variety of tools to ensure implementation and fidelity to the
evidence-based practices while ensuring adherence to regulatory
requirements governing opioid treatment programs. - To ensure
access for clients, efficient operations and that our employees are
supported in the delivery of services to our clients, the hours for
this role are Tuesday - Friday, 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM.
Am I Qualified?
Three (3) years of clinical experience with one (1) year of
clinical experience post-clinical licensure
Master's degree in a behavioral health or human services that meets
Indiana licensure requirements for the following associate
licenses:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW);
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); or
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Active and unencumbered clinical licensure in the State of Indiana
(LCSW, LMFT, LMHC)
Valid Indiana driver's license that meets Eskenazi Health's driving
policy requirements
Opioid Treatment Program Only: Must have experience and training to
safely manage therapeutic services to patients and to provide
therapeutic services to patients receiving opioid treatment
medication

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Proactively contributes to Eskenazi Health mission: Advocate, Care,
Teach and Serve with special emphasis on the vulnerable population
of Marion County. Models Eskenazi Health values of Professionalism,
Respect, Innovation, Development, and Excellence
Provides clinical supervision to clinicians, case managers or other
related positions
Maintains expertise in specific research-based clinical practices
and protocols
Teaches research-based clinical practices and protocols to other
staff, and monitors staff adherence and fidelity to those practices
and protocols
Provides orientation and on-the-job training to assure staff are
well prepared for their roles
Collaborates/consults with psychiatrist, Manager and other
personnel for the integration and development of necessary
treatment services
Participates in the development of in-service training
opportunities to assure staff remain current in their practice
Works collaboratively with other organizations to assure continuity
of services for our clients, developing systems for referral
Monitors clinical work performance, assists in preparing personnel
data and performance evaluations as assigned
Assists staff in preparing documentation; including letters to
court, evaluations and professional correspondence
Assists Manager in managing contracts, grants and other service
agreements
Provides a comprehensive range of strengths and community based
interventions for clients
Develops and oversees processes to assure that treatment plans are
reviewed and updated at intervals indicated by guidelines and that
documentation standards are met
Demonstrates familiarity with best practices for a variety of
client populations
Provides indirect services to external agencies and the community
through consultation and education
Serves as a role model and clinical resource for other
clinicians
Assists clinicians in determining appropriate interventions to aid
clients in reaching their treatment goals
Assists other team members in covering client needs
Offers input for staff performance appraisals
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Thorough understanding of strength and community based treatment
models
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to be both clear and
concise in written and verbal communication
Advanced knowledge of:
psychiatric/addiction diagnoses and understanding of their impact
on behavior
psychotropic medication; their uses and side effects
research based clinical practices and protocols
Use of discretion and independent decision-making regarding staff,
clients and program matters
Ability to:
teach, support and mentor others
use communication appropriate to the age of the audience
teach evidenced based clinical practices and protocols to other
staff
monitor adherence to clinical practices intervention according to
fidelity of clinical models
Crisis intervention skills
Leadership and team building ability
All individuals working for the Opioid Treatment Program must have
experience and training to safely manage therapeutic services to
patients and to provide therapeutic services to patients receiving
Opioid treatment medication.
