These operations involve cutting, stripping and crimping wires and cables of all sizes. Blueprints are also used to form lugs for larger cables. Must be able to work any shift, including nights and weekends. Responsibilities Cut, strip and crimp wire and cable from 26AWG to 4/0 and larger Apply tags to all wires and cables to properly identify them to our customer schematic Operate machinery to press, punch and form lugs Assist in correction of any non-conforming issues found by Quality Follow process and quality gate sheets Ability to verify gauge calibration Maintain area cleanliness and organization Required Qualifications Must have High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year manufacturing experience, preferably heavy industrial Must have Basic Computer knowledge for data entry Must be able to understand and follow safety policies and practices when operating equipment and machinery Ability to read and understanding blueprints, schematics, wire running list, and other visual aids Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information
