Job Summary
We are searching for an electrical design engineer to contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, or systems.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops electrical control systems and electrical power circuits for use within equipment
  • Coordinate the production of drawings, documentation, manuals, and reports
  • Vendor research, procure parts as necessary, work with vendors and support test and assembly
  • Develop AutoCAD drawings and documentation as required
  • Ensure the products perform to their requirements
  • Performs research and development assignments to identify new technology and products
  • Support the sales team on schedule and technical risks defined in quotations Requirements
    • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, engineering technology or extensive experience in power electronics
    • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in the utility equipment, distributed energy, 3 phase generators/motors, advanced batteries or power electronics industry.
    • Strong working knowledge of control systems including 3 phase motor controls, electromagnetics, instrumentation, data communications, and electrical wiring practices
    • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to obtain government security clearance
    • Excellent communication and organizational Skills
    • Travel up to 30% is possible.
