The Judge Group is seeking Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing company located in the Fort Wayne, IN area.Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Wayne, IN Area
Shift: 2nd (3pm-11pm) OR 3rd (11pm-7am)
Pay Rate: $26.63 - 28.50 per hour + shift differentialPrimary Job Duties:
Installation
and Maintenance:
Install
machinery, equipment, and related systems with precision and attention to
detail.
Maintain
all equipment, adhering to manufacturers' specifications.
Troubleshoot
and resolve routine minor problems during project execution.
Technical
Proficiency:
Utilize
hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and diagnostic tools
proficiently.
Read
and interpret hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints and drawings
accurately.
Familiarity
with machine shop equipment and skilled usage.
Electrical
Expertise:
Install
and maintain feeder and branch circuit wiring, including single and
three-phase systems.
Layout
and install rigid and EMT, IMC, and conduit systems in compliance with
the National Electrical Code.
Safety
and Emergency Preparedness:
Be
an active participant in the Plant's Emergency Response Team.
Wear
required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators or
Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) during chemical cleanup.
Electronic
Devices:
Demonstrate
thorough knowledge of electronic devices such as flow meters, encoders,
servo motors, sensors, and photo eyes.
Plant
Service Equipment:
Monitor
and maintain plant service equipment, including air conditioning and
heating systems, hot and chilled water circulation systems, chillers,
cooling towers, boilers, feed water systems, and water softening systems.
Oversee
air compressors and other critical components.
Qualifications:
High
school diploma or equivalent.
5+
years of manufacturing experience
Relevant
technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
